Coleslaw. A simple recipe, but a salad that pairs well with BBQ. Coleslaw is a perfect companion for pulled pork, and I recently made it with pulled beef as well; it's a salad that always complements the BBQ! Moreover, it's a salad that's super easy to prepare fresh and is also quickly ready.

  • 200 grams Fresh Red Cabbage
  • 200 grams Fresh White Cabbage
  • 2 Carrots
  • 2 tablespoons Mayonnaise
  • 2 tablespoons Sour Cream
  • 2 tablespoons Apple Cider Vinegar
  • 1 tablespoon Mustard
  • 1 tablespoon Honey
  • 1 teaspoon Mustard Powder
  • 1 tablespoon Dried Parsley

  • Take a small bowl and mix the mayonnaise, sour cream, apple cider vinegar, mustard, honey, mustard powder, and dried parsley together to make a dressing.
  • Next, julienne the red cabbage, white cabbage, and carrots, either by slicing or grating, and place them in a large bowl where you can mix the ingredients well.
  • Add the dressing to the sliced vegetables and mix everything thoroughly.

Tip: If you are preparing the coleslaw in advance, mix the dressing into the vegetables only at the last moment. This keeps the coleslaw nice and crisp!
