I fire up the BBQ regularly, and of course, I then want to serve a complete meal. That's why I often prepare side dishes on the BBQ as well, to make the meal complete. This time I grilled deliciously seasoned BBQ potato slices. A simple recipe, but oh so tasty alongside a steak or any other delicious piece of meat from the grill. And, also important, easy to combine on the grill with lots of other dishes!

Ingrediënten:
- 4 Large Slightly Floury Potatoes
- 2 tbsp Olive Oil
- 1 tbsp Coarse Sea Salt
- 1 tbsp Black Pepper
- 2 tbsp Paprika Powder
- 1 tbsp Garlic Powder
Overige Benodigdheden:
- BBQ with Lid
Instructions
- Bring a pot of water to a boil. Wash the potatoes and then slice them into disks about 1 cm (0.4 inches) thick.
- Add some salt to the boiling water and cook the potato slices for 5 minutes. Then, drain the potatoes and rinse them under cold water. Lay all the slices apart on kitchen paper and let them drain and dry for about 5 minutes.
- In a little bowl combine all the seasoning and mix well. Next, coat the slices with olive oil and sprinkle with half of just made seasoning blend.
- You can grill the potato slices directly over the coals, but be careful not to let them burn. Turn the potato slices regularly and move those that already have nice grill marks to a cooler (indirect) part of the grill.
- Serve your potato slices with your sauce of choice alongside a delicious steak and some BBQ vegetables, and your meal is complete. Enjoy your meal!
