If I had to choose my favorite BBQ dish, I would probably go for spareribs. Nicely low & slow smoked, with a bit of smoking wood. Spending the whole afternoon working on them and then finally enjoying a delicious meal. That's what BBQ should be like for me. Moreover, with spareribs, you can go in any direction with spices and marinades. Of course, you can buy one of the ready-made dry rubs for spareribs, and there are some delicious ones available, but creating your own rub is also a lot of fun. After quite a few spareribs tests, we now have our own favorite dry rub, and I'm sharing that recipe with you now. The rub is quite versatile and doesn't consist of endless ingredients. Just a simple, but delicious spareribs rub! And the best thing about such a rub recipe is that you can make your own adjustments to develop your own favorite.
Ingrediënten:
- 4 tablespoons Dark Brown Sugar
- 2 tablespoons Smoked Paprika Powder
- 1.5 tablespoons Salt
- 1.5 tablespoons Black Pepper
- 1.5 teaspoons Cayenne
- 2 teaspoons Garlic Granules
- 1.5 teaspoons Mustard Powder
- 1.5 teaspoons Onion Powder
Instructions
- Take a mixing bowl and combine all the ingredients to make a rub. Then use the rub to season your spareribs, or transfer the rub into a dry, well-sealed jar.

An interesting discussion is worth comment. I believe that you need to write extra on this matter, it might not be a taboo topic but typically people are not sufficient to talk on such topics. To the next. Cheers

Thanks for the sensible critique. Me and my neighbor were just preparing to do a little research on this. We got a grab a book from our local library but I think I learned more clear from this post. I’m very glad to see such magnificent information being shared freely out there.
Well I really enjoyed reading it. This tip provided by you is very useful for proper planning.
